To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, we have re-configured our worship space, socially distanced from others, so that you can attend safely. We have also implemented cleaning precautions for your safety. In order to maintain social distancing, reservations are now required to attend worship. 50 spots are available each week and are on a first come first reserved basis. Reservations are open 12am on Tuesdays and will close at 11:59pm on Wednesdays. 

Anyone with medical conditions placing them in the vulnerable category and who have not been fully vaccinated are encouraged to continue worshipping online. Fccmoline.org/fcclive

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or are in a high risk category for COVID-19 we ask that you wait to attend worship until you are symptom free and have not been in contact with a someone who has tested positive. If you have a health condition that makes wearing a mask difficult we request that you not worship with us in person at this time. You can always watch online on FCCLive!

When you arrive at church… Be aware that things will look and feel very different.

  • You must register every person (adult and child) who plans to attend.
  • Doors will open promptly 15 minutes before service.
  • Please maintain 6 feet social distancing while entering and exiting the building and throughout the entirety of the service.
  • Please follow the parking lot and entrance instructions provided in your confirmation email.
  • Face coverings are required for everyone, including children over the age of 2 years old.
  • Face covering MUST be worn at ALL times.
  • All must remain in their pews for the entire service.
  • Nursery is not available at this time.
  • No personal touch rituals (no passing the peace; no use of pew pads, hymnals, or Bibles; alternative instructions for passing the offering plate & communion will be provided during worship; ushers will maintain 6 feet social distancing)
  • Limited congregational singing as long as there is mask compliance.
  • No fellowship food/drink before or after the service.
  • Transportation via the church bus is not available at this time.
  • The office is available for staff only.
  • Chancel area and Balcony are for worship leaders/staff only.
  • Despite our safety measures, there is a possibility that you could be exposed to COVID-19 by attending a service. By registering to attend, you acknowledge this situation and assume the risk of potential exposure.

How to Reserve your Seat

Fill out the online registration form. On Thursday you will receive a Confirmation email with more detailed instructions. Registrations opens 12 am Tuesdays through 11:59 pm on Wednesdays.

What to expect when entering the building.

When you arrive at church, please park in the West Lot and enter through the Main Sanctuary doors. Once inside proceed directly into the sanctuary. Follow all signage to immediately enter the sanctuary and find an open, socially distanced pew. Restroom is available on the main floor (follow all signage). When worship is over we ask that you promptly exit the building and not congregate in building or in the parking lot.

When you place your reservation you can designate elevator access. The North Door is designated for those needing elevator access.

What will worship look like?

When can I make my worship reservations?

Can I show up if I forget to register?

No. We ask that everyone reserve their seat online. If you show up without a reservation you will be directed to listen to the service from our FM Transmitter in the North Parking Lot. Tune your radio to 107.3 to tune in! Alternatively you can also watch the service on FCCLive.

Will I receive a confirmation email after I register?

You will receive a confirmation to your email on Thursday with more detailed instructions.

When will the doors open?

What about those at-risk or those experiencing COVID-19 symptoms?

We hope people who are sick, at risk or in vulnerable categories will worship with us from the safety of their homes on FCCLive. Our team is committed to creating engaging experiences for those joining online.

What safety precautions has FCC implemented?

Your health and safety are of paramount importance to us. We have taken as many precautions as possible to provide a safe environment. At each entrance you will find hand sanitizer and masks. The sanctuary is disinfected before and after each service. Restroom facilities are also disinfected.

What if I, or someone at service tests posivite for COVID-19?

Contract Tracing Information: If a COVID-19 case is confirmed for any person in attendance, in person worship will be cancelled to ensure the proper cleaning and appropriate testing can take place.

If you or a member of your household test positive for COVID-19 contact the church office (309-762-0787). If exposure occurs during worship, you will be notified by the office for contact tracing purposes.
